Niohoggr

​

Niohoggr is a Black Metal band Originated in Somerville, NJ in 2008. Niohoggr was a solo project created by Memphist "Vocalist & Guitarist". From there he gathered connections in the EEUU making his move in NJ. Henceforth, the project was moved to Puerto Rico, "Birth place of Memphist" and from there, he gathered a new chaotic sound for the band to spread in PR, with new members. The first member was Hamergan on drums who lived in he same town of Memphist. Hamergand was active on the molding of the first songs of Niohoggr like "Thy incarnation of blazes". Bringing out what was going to be brood of the wolf of Niohoggr.    But time after that duet more new members arrived to Niohoggr; Baal on "Drums performed during the 2016 " aside with Serigala on " Bass", and "Skoll" in lead guitar. The band performed during the 2016 on many shows: -The west - Metal devastation at Mayaguez (2016) sharing stage with Thy sathan and Necronemesis. -The Blackened Insular Black Metal gathering as well in the 2016.Two chaotic and bloody shows were performed in the blackened in La tertulia at Mayaguez and Club 77 at Rio Piedras San Juan.sharing stage with other Black Metal bands of PR ; Serpenterium, Humanist, Argyle and Vermut.. Later at the end of 2016 nearing 2017 new members arrived to Niohoggr; Ardad in Drums for Niohoggr first EP "Thy reckoning Of thy elders”

But the 2018 arrived and a new phase arrive to the wolves of Niohoggr. A new face and a new old entity returns from the very beguiling of Niohoggr. Hamergand return once more with the wolfpack, but this time leading on guitars with a more blasphemous and wratful path to rais with the Wolves. Niohoggr is a Black metal band who share Norse elements in his lyrics. Our lyrics concentrate more in the old Norse sagas.  Not without mention the War and opposition against Christianity which is one of our main target in our songs, Niohoggr wants to sought empowerment with our music and lyrics to everyone who reach our music.

   Time passed and Memphist created Somberwolf Productions.A independent Black Metal label. Niohoggr sound recording is under SWP and band promos. But indeed Niohoggr stays in the cold raw essence of black metal when we talk about music. With SWP at hand two work were complete.

Niohoggr first official EP "The Reckoning of thy Eldes" and the newest work"Berserker" And yet more work is on the move. two splits and the 3th work EP from the wolves.

Presently Memphist keep the alpha role in the band. Creator,composer and recording core of the wolf pack; Memphist remains working in incarnate lively the wolf packs work. Yet steady the band; the productions of new material keeps on the move by Memphist. indeed there's more to come.
